Be Proactive

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”

– Ephesians 5:15-16

It is always the best thing to stay proactive in our daily lives, especially in our work.

When we choose to be more proactive with our thoughts and have put in place action points to prevent reacting later, we will save ourselves a lot of trouble.

No! I'm not asking you to be pessimistic that bad things will happen but be prepared to still get moving even when a bad situation happens. Resilience is a skill every enterprise owner must possess because life still happens.

The Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 3:2 NIV, "Set your minds on things above".

There are plenty of things that we see every day that are out of our control, but much of what we see can be prevented if we had chosen to stay aloft.

When we set our minds, we are striving for something and directing our minds toward a certain thing. The cause must go on regardless of what is at hand.

Every enterprise we venture into must be handled to create a legacy that will outlive us. Therefore, we should focus on setting our minds and things that concern our enterprise with the things that matter. Every successful enterprise owner you know is not only resilient but very proactive as well and that is why they remain relevant through time.

Prayer Moment

• Dear Lord, help me to focus on the things that matter and help me to stay proactive in every area so I can remain relevant.

Affirmation

• I affirm that my enterprise is relevant to my generation.

• I am resilient, and I always stay ahead, no situation whatsoever can define me or my enterprise.

Think Over it

What is God saying to me today?
