Working Together
“And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.” – Acts 18:18
Working together is a plus!
Some people like to have their ‘space’ when it comes to working officially with their spouses but it is not a bad thing, it is just not for them.
This couple mentioned in our text were always found together. They worked together, travelled together, mentored together. This may not be practicable for some couples in our generation but we can put efforts into doing things together.
We may not necessarily live together but we can dream together, plan together attend functions together and be intentional about serving each other in close proximity.
We can play together, gist together, look for common grounds, spend time on the phone speaking to each other if your spouse is not around you physically. Whatever we nurture will grow, whatever we ignore or neglect, will die a natural death. Meaning it would not be God’s fault or that of the devil. It is only natural that what you feed would grow and what you starve would die.
May God give us wisdom to keep choosing our marriage over activities in Jesus name. amen.
Lord, give me the wisdom to work with my husband peacefully in Jesus name.
Lord, help me to be a helper indeed to my husband’s destiny.
Father, the grace to walk side by side with my husband, grant unto me in Jesus’ name. Amen
Lord, teach us how to spend time together and help us to reap the beautiful fruits that come with it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer Moment
● Lord Jesus, thank you for my husband.
● Lord, I pray that I will always be a supporter of my husband’s vision.
● Father, let my home fulfill divine agenda in Jesus name.
● Father, I pray that we will always have a collective vision as a couple that we will pursue together in Jesus name. Amen.
Think Over it.
What is God saying to me today?
